"Julie Tuesday" was created about a decade ago.  The name grew out of a reference someone had made while I was playing rhythm guitar for a friend's band.  It's a story I like to tell in person so you'll just have to wait to hear it if you haven't yet.

Back then I was a self-proclaimed "Vegan, feminist, animal lover, activist, motorcyclist, guitarist, songwriter".  Those were the words I used to define myself and my place on Earth.

While many of those "definitions" do apply and my beliefs have only gotten stronger I have to admit that I have altered my approach in some areas.  It's something that I'm working out for myself.  I still believe - and now even more so, that animals must be protected and provided with an opportunity for good life.  This is across the board for all life including our home the Earth.

If I needed to sum in up I'd have to say I believe in Reverence for all Life.

A musical recap:

I had previously been in dozens of bands throughout the years ranging from hard-edge rock bands to a Christian thrash band.  I've played with a varied array of talented musicians and dare I say it - entertainers.

My main ambition was always to have a three-piece band where I led with vocals and guitars performing the music, lyrics and arrangements that I had written.  I've been fortunate enough to have had this situation several times in my life.  Once with a band called Nyten, once with a band called Medusa Glory once again with a band called Rembrandt (which was later renamed) and finally once more with the Julie Tuesday project.

This is the one I will continue to nurture.

The music itself changes with the seasons of my life.  From extremely heavy metal to now a more mainstream (I really dislike that term) approach.  It's not by choice; Inspiration designs what is created - I am just the happy and willing medium in which it travels.

I will update this page soon...
